From Past Attendees ...

"Vulnerability without performative pressure, real conversation instead of small talk, and a women's network built on care and intention. The intersection between practical and creative was truly a unique experience."
Sara

“Janic has a true gift for facilitation. She creates a space that feels safe, inspiring and deeply intentional. You feel guided and supported, yet never pushed, which allows you to discover things on your own in a very natural way. Janic fosters real reflection and genuine connection, making the entire experience incredibly impactful.”

Janic Gorayeb
Host & Founder of Ripple Effect Leadership + Creating Ripples Co.
"One of the reasons I pair creativity with strategic work is because business planning happens in your head, but belief happens in your body. When you create something tangible that represents your vision, it stops being abstract. It becomes real - something you can touch, see, and return to when doubt creeps in."
Janic has spent 25+ years in leadership, and most of that time wondering if she was doing it right. Turns out, that's normal. Nobody teaches you how to lead. They just expect you to figure it it out.
So she created Ripple Effect Leadership to teach the stuff nobody else does: decision-making frameworks, workflows that fit your brain, values-based systems, and sustainable habits.

Krista Kankula
Guest Speaker
Artist, Facilitator, and Certified Coach
"One of the reasons I’m drawn to making collages, is because it feels like putting together a puzzle. But instead of having to find the right piece or put it together a certain way, there’s space to use my imagination and be intuitively guided by creativity."
Krista Kankula is an artist, facilitator, and certified coach. In both her day job and workshops, she focuses on two nutrients essential for creativity and often missing in our busy adult lives: PLAY and Practice.
She believes that more than ever, we need play and practice making art, so we can find joy and connection in these chaotic times, make meaningful contributions in our communities, and become more human - more creative, kind, collaborative, and imaginative.
The First Make Your Ripple Effect Workshop
These Ripple Makers showed up in London, Ontario in February 2026 ready to get clear on their goals, values, and what's at their core as biz owners.
We spent the morning in real conversation. The afternoon? Creating these collages - beautiful, visual, and personal reminders they look at every day.

I'm Janic, the founder of Ripple Effect Leadership, and the creative mind behind its sister brand, Creating Ripples Co.
I work with women+ in biz who are tired of second-guessing every decision and feeling scattered about what they're building.
Here's what I believe: leadership + creativity + strategy work together.
When you pair them intentionally, you build something that feels sustainable - not just "successful."
I've spent 25 years in leadership - mostly without the fancy titles or corporate structure. I know what it's like to wear all the hats, make all the decisions, and try to grow without burning out.
Make Your Ripple Effect brings strategy and creativity together in one room. Real conversations. Creative work. Women+ business owners who get it.
If you're building something meaningful and want support that doesn't feel like typical biz planning - I'd love to see you there.
Let's create your ripple. 💜
We gather on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabek, Attiwonderonk (Neutral) and Mississauga peoples, and recognize this land is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
We also acknowledge the Munsee-Delaware Nation, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and Oneida Nation of the Thames.
As we gather here to create, learn, and build something meaningful together, we recognize our responsibility to honour the land, the water, and the relationships that sustain us.
